These ranges apply to the usual combinations in Belgium, between French and Dutch, English or German. As soon as a rarer language is involved (Arabic, Turkish, Polish, Romanian, Chinese…) or a large volume, only the tailored quote counts. Amounts inclusive of all taxes.

A hearing listed for tomorrow, a file held at the counter: several linguists then work in parallel on the same terminology. The surcharge follows the deadline, and it shows on the quote before you approve anything.

Questions about our rates
What does the price of a translation depend on?
On four parameters: the language combination, the field, the word count and the deadline. Dutch and English, which we handle daily, are not priced like a language practised by few sworn translators. Standard translation is counted per word of the source text, sworn translation per page of 250 words, with every page started counted in full. Whatever the translation memory recovers from an earlier file is not recalculated at full rate.
Is the quote genuinely free?
Yes, and you are under no obligation afterwards. Upload the document in the form: the firm amount comes back within the working hour. A sharp photo taken on your phone is enough, a scanner is not needed.
How can I pay for the work?
By bank transfer. Our details reach you as soon as the quote is accepted and work starts on receipt. Companies, administrations and firms that send us assignments regularly can move to monthly invoicing.
Can the price change along the way?
No. The quote is firm and inclusive of all taxes: translation, revision and delivery included. The only two lines that may be added, urgency and legalisation of the signature, appear before you confirm anything at all. The applicable tax treatment is set out in our general terms.
Is the express service available at weekends?
Yes, without interruption, public holidays included. A sworn translation is usually ready within 24 hours: the signed file goes out by email and the stamped original is posted by registered mail the same day. The surcharge is on the quote before you confirm: +50 % for 24 h, +75 % for 12 h, +100 % for 6 h.
Will I receive an invoice my accountant can use?
Yes. Every assignment produces an itemised invoice sent by email, with a description of the work, the file reference and the legal wording your accountant expects.
